Introduction|
The artist uses graphics, video clips and pictures as the primary media on this exhibition to express the current image and comprehension of life. She believes that “to lose” does not lead to the end. Instead, there will be another beginning of life and memory. We grieve over the people, the memory and our youth in life by our symbolic parting ceremony.

We all travel lonely and slowly on the path of life. We all try to look back at what we had lost and what we felt the most, even though we are still struggling between the sadness and past redemption. We still believe these will be replaced to be relieved. Every bitter thing we’ve been through will all be released one day.

Artist Statement|

Xing Fang, Tsai
Life and memory are just like the status when the unidirectional timeline and the unpredictable life come together. Everything that exits in this space will be changing day by day, until it dies and disappears. We are in the process of dying until the day we die. It will be hard for us to relive every piece of the moments we experienced. And these pieces of moments become memory. The memory lets the passing life get back to the owner again.
A hopeful relationship becomes hopeless. His existence is what I used to become something that never existed. I have no idea if life is going to be good or bad. I can only keep disguising it until it looks perfect. It is all because of nature.
To express the imagination after death, to memorize our deadly passing with ceremonies, and to express this huge reflection: these were all made by memories. I mourn the sadness with the most sincere ceremony little by little. The bright soul will finally calm the body full of sadness.

Chin Yi,Lien
Since I’ve been a child, I’ve loved watching organisms decompose. When the bodies turn mature, they get eaten away by nature. These rotten bodies then become the warm beds of the next generation. This becomes the circle of life. I am also fascinated when the organisms are washed by the sun and rain. The organisms’ texture collapses and the cross-flow gradually swells and ferments and only the residual ash remains until one day they vanish. I believe this is the circulation of nature. It presents lives as they actually exist, though they do not exist anymore. Actually, there are lives passing and going in every space at every moment. But these lives just cease to exist after they decompose. To record these organisms’ lives is just like recording myself because death is always unpredictable. Meanwhile, life is also getting weaker and weaker as it is rolling along.
